PUPPIES
Feed up to 2 times per pound of body weight over adult levels.
PREGNANT DOGS
Minimal increase needed during first 6 weeks. Weeks 7, 8, and 9 increase up to 25%.
LACTATING DOGS
Immediately after whelping, nutritional demand increases by 50% compared to maintenance levels. During peak lactation (around 4-5 weeks), increase feeding up to 300% of regular intake. Feed in 3 equal meals per day.

SWITCHING FOODS
While it’s perfectly safe to stop feeding your dog’s previous food one day and introduce Zignature® the next, we recommend a gradual transition to Zignature® for up to seven days. Start by introducing a small amount of Zignature®, increasing it daily while decreasing the previous food by the same amount. This will help avoid an upset stomach as it makes it easier for your pet’s digestive system to acclimate.
